About me

I'm a Delphi Developer with a Bachelor's Degree in Analysis and Systems Development and over fifteen years of hands-on experience. I work with VCL (Desktop) and FMX (Mobile) application development and have published apps for both Android and iOS. I genuinely enjoy what I do, and that shows in everything I deliver.

My primary language is Delphi, but I also work with SQL and apply solid Object-Oriented principles every day. I'm committed to writing clean, well-tested and well-documented code — attention to detail is something I consider non-negotiable when it comes to software quality.

I work well in teams and communicate clearly. I'm organized, meet deadlines, and don't shy away from complex challenges — those are actually the ones that motivate me most. I adapt quickly to new contexts, technologies and methodologies.

I use GitHub and GitLab for version control, work with Scrum and Kanban on a daily basis, and practice Code Review as part of my process. I care about technical documentation — I use XmlDoc in Delphi and write unit tests with DUnitX. My postgraduate degree in DevOps gave me a complete view of the software lifecycle, from coding all the way to delivery in production.

I've been closely following the evolution of artificial intelligence and have already built AI model integrators directly in Delphi. I believe the future of development lies in combining solid technical expertise with the new tools available — and I'm dedicated to applying exactly that in everything I produce.

Industries

I participated in the development of an ERP that has been constantly evolving. I had the pleasure of personally visiting various industries, both in Rio de Janeiro and in other states. As a result, I gained a lot of experience in the industrial process, covering all sectors such as raw material sourcing, labeling, inventory management, quality control, raw material transformation, loss control, sales, customer prospecting, cash flow management, bank reconciliation, issuance of tax documents, reports on the purchase and sale of controlled products, expiry date and batch control among other functionalities.

Legal sector

In this field, I was also active in the development and maintenance of software, both desktop and web, for managing social security law firms. This system allows the operator to control all clients, including registering work history and generating service time calculations, as well as managing all process expenses, internal office expenses, and controlling birthdays, among many other functionalities. This software was migrated to the web version, and I had the pleasure of participating in its development, support, and maintenance.

Karaoke

I was involved in the development of a complete Karaoke system, from the business concept to the last line of code. This entertainment system is currently operational in Brazil and Japan and has thousands of users. With it, you can enjoy singing with your family at home or in bars, restaurants, clubs, etc. You can control the pitch and tempo of the music, create a list of favorite songs, create your own music catalog, integrate directly with YouTube, choose and change the order of songs in the playlist, receive a score after singing, among other functionalities.

General commerce

I had the pleasure of visiting hundreds of businesses throughout the state of Rio de Janeiro. As a result, I made many business acquaintances and carried out implementations for various types of businesses, including butchers, stationery stores, party supply stores, clothing stores, hardware stores, grocery stores, supermarkets, pool supply stores, among many others. During this time, I not only implemented systems but also developed several features to provide customized solutions for clients, including data migration from previous systems.

Bars and restaurants

In recent years, I have delved into the bar and restaurant industry, being a key player in the development of an Android application for placing orders with waiters in bars and restaurants, which was also integrated with the Stone company. With this experience, I had the pleasure of dealing with sales representatives from around Brazil, often leading meetings, providing training, listening to and implementing suggestions, always aiming to improve the software. I also carried out several implementations.

Real estate inspections

Another software I developed from start to finish and is currently used in three Brazilian states is an Android application for conducting real estate inspections. This app allows users, through their own cell phone or tablet, to register a property, its dependencies, items, and details, recording photos and all property data. This application runs in offline mode and then synchronizes with a server on Microsoft Azure, allowing managers to generate customized reports for their clients in a web administrative area.

Gyms and clubs

Another area where I dedicated myself and gained extensive experience was in the field of gyms and clubs. I personally visited dozens of gyms in Rio de Janeiro, implementing and developing solutions and integrations with various equipment such as biometrics, facial recognition, and various turnstiles. During the pandemic, I developed an Android and iOS app to help some gyms comply with the protocol established by the Regional Council of Physical Education. This protocol required gyms to follow many rules, including providing a way for students to schedule their workout times and enforcing a limit on the number of students per time slot. This app addressed these requirements.

Time and attendance control

This software, initially developed for desktop, allows companies to manage their employees' attendance, integrating with time clocks that use biometric technology, proximity cards, or code entry. I worked diligently on integrating the equipment and developing various features such as calculating overtime, tracking delays, and allowing employees to provide justifications for absences. Later, I migrated this software to a web version. During the pandemic, the Public Prosecutor's Office introduced some new features, such as remote attendance, allowing employees to clock in using an application. I had the pleasure of participating in the development of this solution.

Equipment rental

I worked on the development of a complete system for companies in the construction equipment rental industry, covering equipment registration, rental contract management, availability scheduling, tax document issuance, financial control and performance reports. The system allowed companies to manage all operations in one place, reducing errors and increasing operational efficiency.

Various integrations

In my over 15 years of experience, I became passionate about integrations. As a result, I was responsible for dozens of integrations with various companies, such as Google (Drive, Calendar, Maps), Facebook (Authentication), iFood, Stone, WooCommerce, Magento, Vindi, Wordpress, MailChimp, SendPulse, Brazilian Postal Service (Brazilian Postal Service), DominioFiscal, Flexy, Neemo, SMBot, Desejai, several Brazilian banks, and I also created my own APIs. Currently, this is the type of task that motivates me the most because I believe that a small software can become huge when it connects and allows connection with others. Additionally, it allows us to focus on our main goal by outsourcing other tasks to those who really understand the subject.
